You will need:

Font of your choice

Tube of your choice - I will be using the artwork of Gary Rudisill

This artist is not currently selling their art in Tube Format

 

 

Filters:

Mura's Meister/Copies

Xenofex 2/Constellation

DSB Flux/Bright Noise

Eye Candy 6/Perspective Shadow (optional)

Eye Candy 6/Gradient Glow (optional)

 

 

 

Ok let's begin

Open a New Image 600x250 ... Activate your Flood Fill Tool

Set your Foreground color to a Bright one from your Tube and Background to a Dark color

Flood Fill your Image with your Foreground color

 

 

Paste your Tube as a New Layer

Effects> Mura's Meister> Copies ... *Line ... default settings

Change this layers Blend Mode to Luminance or Luminance (L)

and Drop the Opacity a little .. I used 85%

 

 

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Flood Fill with White

Activate your Selection Tool with the following settings

 

 

And drag some selections the full length of the canvas like so

The thickness of the selections is totally up to you ... I personally make them different thicknesses

 

 

Edit> Clear ... Selections> Select None

Effects> Distortion Effects> Wave ... with the following settings

 

 

Layers> Duplicate

Effects> Xenofex 2> Constellation .... Settings ... A Few Small Stars

Choose Make Selection Transparent and click on the Random Seed Button once

Activate the original wave layer and lower the Opacity to around 40%

 

 

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Layers> Arrange> Bring to Top

Make a Custom Selection ... with the following settings

Left - 0 ... Top - 0 ...Right - 60 ... Bottom - 60

 

 

Flood Fill the Selection with your Background color ... Selections> Modify> Contract by 11 pixels

Flood Fill the Selection with your Foreground color ... Selections> Select None

Image> Free Rotate ... Direction - Right ... Degrees - 45

Effects> Image Effects> Offset ... with the following settings

 

 

Effects> DSB Flux> Bright Noise ... with the following settings

 

 

Effects> 3D Effects> Drop Shadow ... with the following settings

Edit> Repeat Drop Shadow

 

 

Effects> Mura's Meister> Copies ... *Line ... change the Number to 13

Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Flip ... Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Free Rotate

Direction - Right ... Degrees - 90

 

 

Effects> Image Effects> Offset ... with the following settings

Layers> Arrange> Move Down ... Layers> Duplicate ... Image> Mirror

 

 

Layers> New Raster Layer ... Layers> Arrange> Bring to Top

Flood Fill this layer with your Background color ... Selections> Select All ... Selections> Modify> Contract by 2

Edit> Clear ... Selections> Select None

Effects> DSB Flux> Bright Noise ... same settings as earlier

 

 

Paste your Tube as a New Layer ... Move to either side of your canvas

Effects> Eye Candy 6> Gradient Glow ... Settings ... Simple (thin) ... White

Click on the Basic tab and change the Glow Radius to 3

 

Effects> Eye Candy 6> Perspective Shadow ... Settings ... Drop ... Blurry

Layers> Arrange> Move Down

 

 

Add Copyrights and your Name

And that's it. All that's left is to save your Tag

 

 

Here is another example by me using the artwork of Barbara Jensen, this time used regular Drop Shadows
